Art galleries in Chennai
To revive interest in art among the youth and for those who cannot afford to pay exorbitant rates to exhibit their paintings, N. Ramachandran, a retired government official, has set aside a corner of Ganpat building on the busy Nungambakkam High Road for them.

Ramachandran Art Gallery hopes to meet the amateur painters and artists demand for quality gallery space.

The gallery run on a no-profit basis will provide space free for select talented artists. Professional artists will have to pay Rs. 1,000 a day.
